Wisdom: God's Vision for Life

Scripture and the Tradition of the Catholic Church provide an abundance of wisdom, though it can often be challenging to apply it to our lives. In this study, Jeff Cavins and Thomas Smith examine biblical wisdom as it relates to daily life. Drawing on the wisdom literature of the Bible—Proverbs, Wisdom, Sirach, and Ecclesiastes—Wisdom will teach you how to actively seek out sound guidance and increase your sense of peace in navigating life. In everything from friendships to finances, from making decisions to attaining peace of mind, Scripture offers a vision for happiness and well-being. With this program, you will learn how to gather, gain, and grow in wisdom, and you will experience the joy it brings to your life.

In this program, you will:

Discover what wisdom is (and what it isn’t!)

Learn new habits for increasing wisdom in your daily life

Gain confidence, through role models and practice, in living according to God’s vision

Paul’s letter to the Ephesians reveals many remarkable gifts that we as Christians are given in the Church. This letter tells us about the nature of the Church – as a body, as a household, as a mystery, as a communion, as a bride, and as an army. It shows us the great inheritance that awaits us as sons and daughters, adopted fully into the family of God. It reveals how God’s great love for us can transform our daily lives if we allow it. Ephesians: Discover Your Inheritance is an 8-part Bible study that will enrich your faith, and show you how to live it out.

Light Weigh is an inexpensive diet/bible study program. The program consists of a study book and videos of the author(teacher). The members of the group provide support for each other as they grow in faith but shrink their waist lines.

This is a 12 week Catholic Bible Study DVD program recommended by priests, doctors, nurses & Prevention Magazine for weight-loss and health. There are no weigh-ins. An Introduction to the Theology of the Body: Discovering the Master Plan for Your Life is an eight-part, four-hour study designed to give you a solid understanding of God’s plan for humanity. It addresses the two most fundamental and universal questions:

What does it mean to be made human, male and female, in the image
and likeness of God?
